Welcome! I’m so glad you are here and you are right where you belong! When I began my career in the field of special education, I never imagined I’d be doing clinical work, 25 years later. However, my journey of working in Early Intervention, my own grief, loss, life changes and healing, as well as goodness were what guided me to be curious about how development impacts wellness. My pursuit of a second master’s degree in mental health counseling and my PhD have been a guide and source of new knowledge and understanding of being a human. As a counselor, I, too, have been part of life’s ups and downs. This is what make me unique. And you unique to your own life story and goals. I will always be a lifelong learner. Today, I am the CEO of Sierra Oak Counseling providing in office as well as online counseling support throughout CA and across ID. Come as you are, there is no judgement on my part.
